Fox Handling Gloves

Caring for Bat Eared Foxes at Reasheath College, Nantwich

In this news feature we join Kevin Palmer at Reaseheath College in Nantwich, Cheshire to see how the Venom Defender Animal Handling Gloves are helping to care for the Bat Eared Foxes.

Kevin's work is focussed on research, education and the conservation of these foxes (Otocyon megalotis).

Our Animal Handling Gloves were used during the handling of this particular fox as Kevin needed to perform a thorough health check and administer an anti-biotic injection. Such a procedure would be very difficult and dangerous without protection as the foxes can inflict a nasty bite.

Our animal handling gloves are extremely flexible and thus this animal is easily restrained, whilst the 3 layers of Super Fabric provide fantastic protection for the handler. This additional level of confidence within the handler helps to promote a relaxed experience and minimise any stress to the animals during these important procedures.
