ZSL London Zoo using our Arm Guards whilst working with Penguins
We are proud to announce that Suzana Matyasova and her team at ZSL London Zoo are now using our Arm Guards as protection against the pecks from penguins.
To date it has always been tricky when trying to catch and hold the penguins without getting injured when these feisty birds need to be inspected.
Our protective Arm Guards give the handlers more confidence during such procedures as they feel safer knowing that they now have that extra protection.
The fact that the handlers are more relaxed has an immediate calming effect on the penguins. It seems that when the animal knows that the handler does not react to a bite or a peck, there is no fun in continuing their attack.
Our Arm Guards are made of patented Super Fabric which is flexible and comfortable to wear. They are adjustable and come in 3 sizes; Small, Medium and Large.
